Punch and Judy is an English tradition that goes back for over three hundred years, yet still flourishes today. John Alexander is one of the performers who help to keep the show alive.

"Professor" Alexander has long experience of delighted audiences who appreciate the fun and sheer enjoyment of the fast moving slapstick show. The strange high-pitched voice of Mr. Punch never fails to attract an audience who are happy to stay for the fun.

For many years John presented Punch on the beach at Broadstairs. This seaside town in Kent, with its connections with Charles Dickens, is the perfect setting for Punch and Judy.

John Alexander has taken Punch to Festivals in Italy, France, Germany, Holland and the United States and has appeared on television in all these countries.

The Alexander version of the show has been booked into the Royal Albert Hall, the National Theatre and the National Film Theatre. The show made many appearances in the Millennium Dome.
