Winter Now
After a busy summer with some new events, the winter is upon us and there are only private birthday parties for the most part. The word is that bookings are scarcer at Christmas these days and there is no doubt that many companies no longer run Christmas parties for the children of employees.
Leigh Lights
Due to illness, Chris Gasper was unable to perform at the Christmas Lights switch-on this year at Leigh on Sea. We were asked at fairly short notice to do it and, after a beautiful day, it rained, and rained. It did not stop crowds of people from coming out to enjoy themselves and we managed a couple of good shows between the worst downpours.
Looking forward to Summer
There are a few repeat booking for the summer already in the book and the rest are coming in daily, although half of the enquiries are passed on to a PJF member nearer, as they are out of my radius.
Brent DeWitt was planning to come to Broadstairs this summer, but has been booked for an American Circus. Not sure yet if there will be anyone on the pitch. Watch this space!
